Experience the stunning Andalucian countryside by horseback. We offer adventurous riding holidays with self-catering accommodation for up to six friends in our three bed cave home.
Our location is perfect for exciting riding. Our cave is situated right at the edge of Europe’s only desert; a diverse countryside of parks, lakes and mountains, overlooked by the often snow-capped peaks of the Sierra Nevada mountains.
We set out from Fuente Vera each day and cover 20 to 40 kilometres; balancing on delicate goat trails, scrambling up steep canyons, crossing rivers and flying through pine forests. Some days we bring a picnic and find a shady spot to eat, others we ride to hill top villages and tie up for tapas.
We also cater for the beginner or improver with gentler paced rides through pine forest, almond and olive groves overlooking the Castril Valley.
For the beginner we have a BHS qualified riding instructor on hand to start you on the way to a happy relationship with the horses and many years of happy and safe horse riding. Three of the people pictured below had never ridden before coming to Spanish Rural Bliss.
